| Requirements and Responsibilities For Algorithm and Simulation Engineer II |
| Designs, develops, and evaluates the effectiveness of algorithms and frameworks to simulate and model complex systems such as behavior, threat detection, or real-world systems or vision. Uses machine learning, computational methods, and data analysis to identify, implement, and test relevant and viable algorithms for modeling a system or problem. Creates scalable frameworks to run simulations repeatedly and quickly or model operational environments and processes. Develops visualizations to review and communicate results. Writes and reviews code in relevant languages, packages, and libraries. Typically requires a master's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience. |
