| Requirements and Responsibilities For Business Process Technology Consulting Sr. Manager |
| Manages technology consulting projects and operations focused on improving and enhancing client business processes. Utilizes consultative methodologies to research and analyze complex issues surrounding an organization's systems. Guides the client in an assessment process to define the organization's needs and explore and evaluate solution options that meet business requirements. Identifies technical infrastructure solutions for improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the organization's business systems. Trains and manages service teams with consulting skills and technological expertise to staff projects and provide project support. Monitors project timelines, resources, expenses, and outcomes to ensure successful results. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
