| Requirements and Responsibilities For Commercial Loan Business Development Officer II |
| Markets and sells a bank's commercial loan products and services. Generates commercial loan growth by identifying, structuring, and developing new lending relationships with business clients. Identifies prospective commercial clients and originates loan opportunities aligned with the bank's credit policies and risk appetite. Develops and maintains relationships with borrowers to understand financing needs and propose appropriate credit solutions. Collaborates with credit analysts, underwriters, and risk teams to structure loan terms and prepare credit packages. Manages the loan origination pipeline from initial contact through approval and closing. Monitors market conditions and competitor offerings to support loan growth strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4-7 years of related experience. |
