| Requirements and Responsibilities For Commercial Loan Review Manager |
| Manages the review of commercial loans to ensure sound credit practices, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal lending standards. Oversees risk assessments, loan grading, and portfolio evaluations performed by the team. Develops policies, procedures, and review schedules specific to commercial lending activities. Evaluates complex commercial loans and approves final risk assessments and recommendations. Communicates key findings and trends to senior leadership and regulatory agencies. Leads, trains, and develops staff to maintain high-quality review standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
