| Requirements and Responsibilities For Environmental Engineering Supervisor |
| Supervises a team of engineers responsible for providing solutions to environmental issues. Oversees environmental experiments, reviews report findings, and recommends corrective actions. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency. Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are followed by the team. Monitors the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local environmental legislation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
