| Requirements and Responsibilities For Field Service Engineering Technician IV |
| Provides maintenance and technical support for company products at customer field locations. Installs, configures, and enhances products, tests them against product specifications, and may train on-site personnel. Determines when products should be replaced and recommends and plans upgrades. Identifies and troubleshoots malfunctions to their technical cause and conducts or schedules repairs. Develops detailed service reports to document service visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions and logs and tracks maintenance activities. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience. |
