| Requirements and Responsibilities For Field Service Support Senior Manager |
| Manages the field service support function for customers on equipment problems. Oversees the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all equipment including engines, electrical, hydraulic, and power train systems, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications. Ensures customers receive training on equipment use, job records stay accurate, and repeat breakdowns reach engineering for review. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
