| Requirements and Responsibilities For Flight Inspection Senior Manager |
| Manages the inspection of aircraft parts, systems, and equipment to ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards and requirements. Implements policies and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent inspection protocols. Reviews inspection reports and coordinates and schedules repairs or modifications to meet compliance with regulations. Maintains a thorough understanding of all pertinent standards, specifications, and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Flight Inspector License. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
