Requirements and Responsibilities For Forest and Conservation Worker
Reforests and protects timber tracts and maintains forest facilities including roads and campsites. Applies a wide range of concepts. Applies practical knowledge of practices and procedures from two or more specialized fields, such as forestry, soil science and/or agriculture. May require 2-4 years of related work experience. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a manager, or head of the department.
