Requirements and Responsibilities For Fraud Prevention Manager |
Manages the team responsible for proactively identifying, monitoring, and minimizing fraudulent transactions. Develops cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Approves and implements recommendations for process and procedure improvements. Ensures compliance with all relevant anti-fraud regulations and standards. Creates reports outlining trends, risks, and mitigation strategies. Stays current on best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
