| Requirements and Responsibilities For Identity & Access Control Manager |
| Manages the administration and maintenance of access security systems. Develops strategies to investigate security incidents and access problems. Establishes techniques for and reviews analysis, risk assessment, and troubleshooting to improve security systems. Leads the development of policies, standards, and procedures related to access security systems. Ensures team members understand and perform according to these policies and procedures. Reviews audits and reports related to access security systems and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
