Requirements and Responsibilities For Industrial Engineer V
Designs equipment or machine layout to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure products meet quality standards while minimizing production problems and costs. Develops and maintains manufacturing routes for maximizing space, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensures compliance with industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
