| Requirements and Responsibilities For Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager |
| Manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
