Requirements and Responsibilities For Applications Engineer II
Reviews customers' technical needs and recommends specific product/service solutions to meet these needs. Estimates costs and consults with the sales force on technical matters, ensuring that proposed solutions can be integrated with current systems and equipment. Works with engineers from various departments to resolve problems that arise during and after implementation. May perform sales presentations to prospective customers. May conduct user training. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
