| Requirements and Responsibilities For Managerial Accounting Manager |
| Manages the development of financial accounting and reporting processes focused on analyzing costs and budgets used to support informed management decision-making. Oversees the collection and analysis of business operational metrics used to develop trend analysis, budget allocations, and forecasting. Works with management to develop and deliver the data-driven information needed to plan for inventories, products, pricing, production levels, capital expenditures, and other business processes. Implements systems and tools to provide accurate and timely regular and ad-hoc reporting for internal planning purposes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
