Requirements and Responsibilities For Metallurgical Engineer IV
Designs and initiates processes for the manufacturing of metals from ores and for the operation of the related production equipment. Performs analysis and tests to aid in the development of new and improved metals and alloys as well as their applications to various products. May require a master's degree in engineering or related field. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
