| Requirements and Responsibilities For Patient Safety Attendant |
| Responsible for providing continuous, non-medical supervision to patients. Ensures safety and comfort of assigned patient. May assist with simple tasks such as reading to the patient, answering the phone, and getting beverages. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. |
