| Requirements and Responsibilities For Pharmacy Technician Supervisor |
| Oversees the work of a team of Pharmacy Technicians that assist Pharmacists with the dispensing of medical prescriptions. Monitors daily activities and manages work schedules to ensure that quality, production and customer service standards are maintained. May hire, train, and evaluate new employees. Requires a high school diploma. Typically requires Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
