| Requirements and Responsibilities For Power Plant Maintenance Technician |
| Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and control equipment in a power generation facility. Conducts routine checks, lubricates moving parts, cleans filters, and services machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns. Diagnoses faults in heavy equipment, such as turbines, boilers, generators, pumps, and valves. Adheres to all safety protocols, procedures, and industry best practices. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. |
