| Requirements and Responsibilities For RFP Senior Manager |
| Oversees and manages the team responsible for responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from potential clients. Responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing the entire process of responding to RFPs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals that help secure new business. Monitors all aspects of proposal development from opportunity identification to submission, ensuring timelines, content quality, and compliance with client requirements are met. Establishes project priorities and develops a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
