| Requirements and Responsibilities For Real Estate Director |
| Directs an organization's real estate operations and activities to facilitate the buying, selling, or leasing of properties. Implements real estate strategies for property acquisitions, leasing, portfolio management, and development to ensure activities align with organizational goals and objectives. Evaluates and improves processes to ensure the efficient execution of real estate initiatives. Manages due diligence processes to evaluate real estate purchases, assess property value, project expenses, and ensure profitability of assets. Maintains relationships with contractors, banks, investors, and various stakeholders. Ensures all real estate activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
