Requirements and Responsibilities For SVP of HR Business Partners
Plans, leads, and provides oversight to all HR consultation and support to business units within an organization. Designs, implements, and executes strategic plans and goals. Provides leadership and oversight on the design and development of processes. Establishes policies and procedures to ensure best practices are used when providing HR guidance to business leaders. Works with executive leadership to ensure that HR strategies align with business objectives and key initiatives. May act as an HR business partner to executive leadership. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes/implements overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Typically requires 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. Has extensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
