| Requirements and Responsibilities For Supplier Inventory Manager |
| Manages coordination of the flow of products manufactured by third parties to customers and develop enhancements to the optimization of supply chain operations. Monitors and analyzes key metrics including inventories, delivery time, lead times, and order cycles. Evaluates product forecasts, sales force forecasts, competitive information, and market conditions. Identifies trends, issues and opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
