| Requirements and Responsibilities For Telecommunications Supervisor I |
| Supervises the maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems to ensure continuous and reliable communication services. Supervises technicians performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of telecommunications equipment. Schedules and prioritizes maintenance activities to minimize service disruptions. Diagnoses complex system faults and directs corrective actions. Monitors system performance and coordinates preventive maintenance programs. Trains staff on repair procedures, tools, and safety practices. Maintains records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service history. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of the team processes. |
