| Requirements and Responsibilities For VP of Reimbursement Services |
| Plans and oversees claim reimbursement activities to facilitate accurate, timely, and compliant operations. Develops and implements strategic plans to optimize revenue cycle management, including claims submission, denial resolution, and payment collection processes. Collaborates with senior leadership of finance, compliance, and clinical teams to align reimbursement strategies with organizational goals. Evaluates and improves processes and controls to verify policy details, validate charges and coding, and ensure claim accuracy and completeness. Analyzes reimbursement trends, financial data, and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive data-informed decision-making. Establishes and maintains relations with third-party payers to negotiate payer policies, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely repayments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
