Requirements and Responsibilities For Dietitian - Home Care
Conducts assessments of patient/caretaker nutritional needs to implement nutritional care plan complying with the medical diagnosis needs. Plans menus, inspects food to ensure portions adhere to set restrictions and dietary standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires state license to practice. Requires Registered Dietitian (RD). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
