| Requirements and Responsibilities For Health Policy Sales Representative II |
| Sells health insurance policies and related products by educating individuals and groups on available coverage options, benefits, and enrollment requirements. Develops relationships with prospective clients, brokers, employers, and community organizations to generate leads and increase membership growth. Explains policy provisions, eligibility guidelines, premiums, and regulatory requirements to support informed customer decisions and compliant sales practices. Coordinates enrollment activities, application processing, and follow-up communications to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance. Monitors sales performance metrics and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve customer outreach strategies. Maintains accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and compliance documentation in accordance with organizational standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires NIPR State Licensure. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
