| Requirements and Responsibilities For Inside Claims Adjuster III |
| Investigates, evaluates, and resolves insurance claims from an office-based setting to determine coverage, liability, and appropriate settlement. Reviews claim details, policy provisions, and supporting documentation to assess validity and exposure. Negotiates and settles claims with claimants, policyholders, and third parties within established authority limits. Communicates by phone and in writing to gather information, explain decisions, and manage expectations. Documents investigation findings, reserves, and settlement actions accurately in the claims system. Ensures compliance with policy terms, regulatory requirements, and company service standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
