| Requirements and Responsibilities For Senior Health Educator |
| Responsible for developing and designing health education programs meant to increase community awareness and knowledge. Conducts needs assessments and keeps up-to-date on changes in health care technology to keep program material current. Develops, coordinates, and disseminates educational resources and materials. May provide health education outreach and consultation. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4-7 years of related experience. |
