| Requirements and Responsibilities For Health Educator |
| Responsible for developing and designing health education programs to increase awareness and knowledge. Collects and analyzes data to understand the specific health concerns of a population. Develops, coordinates, and disseminates educational resources and materials. Monitors and assesses educational programs for effectiveness. May provide health education outreach and consultation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
