Requirements and Responsibilities For Signal & Image Processing Engineer II
Designs, develops, and tests mathematical algorithms used to analyze and process signal and imagery data. Applies signal and image processing principles and mathematical methods to develop image capture systems. Develops the concepts, requirements, architecture, prototypes, algorithms, and models for systems. Performs extensive testing and validation of designs using simulation and modeling software and tools. Conducts research and studies to create innovative approaches for solutions and products. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
