Requirements and Responsibilities For VP of Long Term Care |
Plans and directs all aspects of a healthcare organization's long-term care program and services. Establishes strategic and financial goals for the long-term care business and monitors program performance, while ensuring that provided services meet quality standards. Develops policies and procedures that ensure the organization and staff operate in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
