| Requirements and Responsibilities For VP of Pharmacology |
| Plans and leads all the pharmacology activities within an organization. Develops, implements, and executes strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the department. Ensures all research and experiments align with strategic objectives, and all pharmacological activities comply with standard operating procedures, good clinical practices (GCP), and other applicable regulations. Provides scientific and technical leadership to the department. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
