| Requirements and Responsibilities For Wholesale Insurance Sales Associate |
| Develops and manages wholesale insurance sales relationships by working with retail brokers to place complex or non-standard risks across multiple carrier markets. Identifies client coverage needs and matches risks to appropriate wholesale insurance products, ensuring competitive pricing and appropriate underwriting alignment. Generates new business opportunities and expands broker relationships by providing market access, product expertise, and placement solutions. Coordinates with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams to negotiate terms, secure quotes, and bind coverage in accordance with company guidelines. Maintains a pipeline of submissions and sales activity while tracking performance metrics, renewal opportunities, and market trends. Ensures compliance with insurance regulations, carrier requirements, and internal sales practices throughout the placement process. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Passing of FINRA SIE Exam. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
