| Requirements and Responsibilities For Wholesale Insurance Team Leader |
| Leads wholesale insurance sales and operational support activities to drive broker engagement, placement efficiency, and revenue growth across assigned markets. Oversees day-to-day team performance, workflow prioritization, and service delivery to ensure timely and accurate service to retail broker clients. Provides coaching, training, and technical guidance to team members on product knowledge, carrier relationships, and account management practices. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with retail brokers, carrier underwriters, and program partners to expand market access and resolve escalated service issues. Monitors team production metrics, pipeline activity, and service levels to ensure alignment with organizational sales goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Passing of FINRA SIE Exam. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. |
