Requirements and Responsibilities For Childbirth Educator
Provides instruction and education to patients planning to give birth. Presents curriculum in a group setting. Reviews class material and recommends changes based on educational standards. May assist in developing new content. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
