| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Agency Senior Branch Manager |
| Manages daily operations of an insurance agency branch to achieve sales growth, customer service, profitability, and compliance objectives. Develops sales strategies, business development initiatives, and community outreach programs to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence. Oversees recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management activities for agency sales and administrative staff. Monitors branch financial performance, operational metrics, and customer satisfaction results to identify improvement opportunities and ensure achievement of business goals. Ensures compliance with insurance regulations, licensing requirements, underwriting guidelines, and company policies across all branch activities. Builds and maintains relationships with clients, carriers, brokers, and community organizations to support business development and customer retention efforts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires NIPR State Licensure. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
