| Requirements and Responsibilities For Merchant Services Sales Representative I |
| Responsible for selling merchant card services to customers. Develops new prospects and finds new clients via cold calling, networking, and referrals. Calls on existing clients to increase sales of the organization's products and services. Reviews customer's merchant card statements and suggests products that meets the client's needs. Provides ongoing support, resolves issues, and maintains relationships for retention and upselling. Stays updated on payment trends, regulations, and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. |
