Requirements and Responsibilities For SVP of Product/Brand Management |
Provides leadership and innovation to the product management function of an organization. Oversees the implementation of operating procedures to drive successful product or brand campaigns and leads process improvements as needed. Ensures product and brand practices and initiatives align with greater organizational strategy and direction. Responsible for overseeing the management of the strategic product roadmap, product development, product launch, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product. Collaborates with various departments to ensure the product vision is understood and implemented effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head. |
