| Requirements and Responsibilities For Power Trader II |
| Responsible for facilitating the purchase and sale of energy. Monitors energy supply levels, reports surpluses or shortages, and conducts market analysis to identify fluctuations in cost and availability of power sources. Manages risk through hedging strategies and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires a solid understanding of energy trading markets and trading practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
