| Requirements and Responsibilities For Power Trader V |
| Responsible for facilitating the purchase and sale of energy. Monitors energy supply levels, reports surpluses or shortages, and conducts market analysis to identify fluctuations in cost and availability of power sources. Manages risk through hedging strategies and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires a solid understanding of energy trading markets and trading practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Typically requires 10+ years of related experience. |
